This is a good question you’re asking, basically it’s because of a bug in the script I use to generate the PDF… But I know this script has been updated and I’m working on a new version of Boks, so I’ll try to integrate it and see if I can remove those borders.

Hi, first of all, great application! I have a question for you. If you generate for instance a grid with 16 Columns, 40px for the width and 20px for the guttter, you will get a 960px layout. Can you tell me why does the grid.pdf have gutters of 21px and columns of 39px? This error is caused by a 1px on each side of gutter columns. Why are you adding these borders to the gutter columns in the pdf? Thanks for your help on this.

You can then paste that clipboard data into any application that can handle raw bitmap data
Examples:
Photoshop -> Paste as New Image or Layer
MS Paint -> Paste as New Image
MS Word -> Paste as clipart
MS Outlook -> Paste as Photo Attachment

The Print screen Key in Windows does that, it sores the whole screen as bitmap data in the clipboard.

ok thanks, is it possible to just get screen short from copying a url or some how using a shorcut key of some sort, while cropping works best with the application browser, where as having to revisit a website in your app to get the actual screen shot seems like extra work

@Adam: The idea is good but I don’t think this would have to be in WebKut… But this could be a new/dedicated app!
I don’t know any AIR app that does this but the Capture Tool on Windows looks like that.

This app would be brillient for what i need if it acted like Pixus adobe air application.
In that it sits over the top of the screen and allows to you pull the sides to resize. Once you have resized to the shape you want. Click snapshot. This then processes and asks you what you want to do with the image?

a)email
b)post to social networks
c)download
d)upload to ftp? – not sure that this one is that important.

The reason I need it to work like this is because I have a mapping software that only runs through microsoft browser. I can’t add in the URL as it is dynamic and inbuilt into the software.

If you know of any application that already does this or if you could do this, let me know. Cheers

Open source would be nice,
id like to change the flickr upload functionality so a remote folder [and the path to a sql database ] and allow to tag photos which would also get sorted in a database.

Yeah, if you could implement google.load() with some options it would be perfect, just to give a choice. Keep working on it, it’s a great tool! (waiting for HTML5 + CSS3 implementations)

a) if the user decides to use local ones, why not just let him point to some (and copy them automagically into the project … )

I am not really working on it anymore as I don’t have much free time these days, but I appreciate feedback and store it to improve that app when I can…

Here are my reactions to your suggestions:
a) Why not, we could imagine a way to link to local and/or remote JS files
b) Which libs would you like?
c) If I implement point a, that would then become useless, right?

Just found this sweet software, and must say i am impressed. looks very solid. are you still working on this ?
if so, i’d like to ask for a little enhancement: could you please check if it would be possible to choose between:
a) use Google CDN or offline
b) than choose some different versions of js-libs (if we’re on CDN)
c) add jquery-ui lib
