Thx Quentin,

I tried uploading a file not created from webkut and the same error occurred. I'll check it out with Wordpress.org.

Thanks again,

Hi,
I believe the errors you have are sent by an FTP program, right? If so, I can't do anything about it, you should try another one or upload in an other directory to see if it works.

I really like this app. However I've been having problems using it successfully on my blog recently. everytime I want to upload an image I captured using webkut, I get this error message: "Unable to create directory /home/mionesco/......... Is its parent directory writable by the server?"

Does this problem originate from using Webkut?

Thanks

You can then paste that clipboard data into any application that can handle raw bitmap data
Examples:
Photoshop -> Paste as New Image or Layer
MS Paint -> Paste as New Image
MS Word -> Paste as clipart
MS Outlook -> Paste as Photo Attachment

The Print screen Key in Windows does that, it sores the whole screen as bitmap data in the clipboard.

ok thanks, is it possible to just get screen short from copying a url or some how using a shorcut key of some sort, while cropping works best with the application browser, where as having to revisit a website in your app to get the actual screen shot seems like extra work

@Adam: The idea is good but I don't think this would have to be in WebKut... But this could be a new/dedicated app!
I don't know any AIR app that does this but the Capture Tool on Windows looks like that.

Thanks for the suggestion!

This app would be brillient for what i need if it acted like Pixus adobe air application.
In that it sits over the top of the screen and allows to you pull the sides to resize. Once you have resized to the shape you want. Click snapshot. This then processes and asks you what you want to do with the image?

a)email
b)post to social networks
c)download
d)upload to ftp? - not sure that this one is that important.

The reason I need it to work like this is because I have a mapping software that only runs through microsoft browser. I can't add in the URL as it is dynamic and inbuilt into the software.

If you know of any application that already does this or if you could do this, let me know. Cheers

Open source would be nice,
id like to change the flickr upload functionality so a remote folder [and the path to a sql database ] and allow to tag photos which would also get sorted in a database.

LOL That's funny, Adobe Air can't handle rendering flash... Hmmm maybe this says something about adobe?

Like mayne you can tell me this, Why can foxit PDF Reader do the exact same thing as Adobe Acrobat Reader, in 3 Mb as opposed to 77Mb?

It even does the form filler and saving like Acrobat Reader...

I do like Adobe tho...

Yep, I saw it!
About that Flash limitation: I'm pretty sure it won't work, even with AIR 2.0, it seems to be something hard to handle by Adobe.

OK, I see...
So I guess I can't do anything about it, but we can wait for AIR 2.0 that might fix it since it uses a newer WebKit version!

And I have It set to png full page, but all settings do it... the Avatars look like bar codes, and it happens on a few sites...

Here is my Screenshot I just uploaded http://kill4play.com/kill4play.com.png
